 On November 23, in Ho Chi Minh City, Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) held the opening ceremony of the National startup day for students 2020 and kick off the competition " Vocational education student's start up idea - Startup Kite”. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat; Deputy Minister of MOLISA Le Tan Dung; President of Ho Chi Minh city's People Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong, Leaders of Directorate of Vocational Education, representatives from the departments, sectors, localities, businesses and more than 2,000 vocational students.
To enhance the cooperation in direction, implementation the measures of child protection and child abusement combat, on November 24, in Hanoi, a cooperation agreement on child protection was signed between the Department of Child Affairs under the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs and Vietnam Post. Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) Nguyen Thi Ha; Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Pham Anh Tuan; representatives from Goverment Office, Department of Child Affairs, MOLISA and Vietnam Post.
The Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a decision approving a support programme for persons with disabilities for 2021-2030. The programme aims to promote the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Vietnam's Law on Persons with Disabilities.
