On July, 16th, 2019, at the Ministry Head office, the Center of Overseas Labour and Osaka Medical Care Association, held the Signing Ceremony on the cooperation agreement on dispatching Vietnamese nursing trainees to intern in Japan. Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and Japanese envoy to Vietnam – Mr. Asazuma Shinichi attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. Addressing at the event, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said that, since 2012, on the base of the result of the Vietnam- Japan economic partners Treaty, MOLISA assigned the Department of Overseas Labour to pilot implementation, however, the number of dispatched people annually has not been a large number.
On July 29 -30 th, 2019, in Hanoi, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with the ASEAN Secretary Board held the validation workshop of the regional study on changing nature of employment relationships as the impact of the use of ICT and adequacy of legislations in regulating employment relationships. The workshop aimed at creating an opportunity for representatives of labour channel from member states of ASEAN and relating international agencies, organizations to evaluating the researching results, the recommendation in the draft of report as well as discussing on the next step in the research.
  On August 15, 2019, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescent and Children, Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized Opening Ceremony of the 6th National Forum of children with the theme "Children participate in child issues". Deputy Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha attended and had the opening speech. Attending the forum were Mr. Dang Hoa Nam, Director General of Department of Children Affairs, representative from the Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescent and Children of the National Assembly, National Fund for Vietnamese Children, representatives of ministries, branches, unions, national and international organizations, businesses sponsoring the Forum together with 169 children representing 26 million children on nationwide.  
On May 17th, 2019, the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has issued a Decision No. 588/QD-TTg on approving a plan to mobilise social resources to support children in extremely disadvantaged communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
