Promoting labour cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary

 On June 7, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan had a meeting with Mr. Juhas Csongor - General Director of Prohuman Company (Hungary) to discuss the promotion of dispatching Vietnamese workers to work in Hungary. Attending the meeting were Leaders of the Department of Overseas Labour, Department of International Cooperation, MSP International Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that the Vietnamese Government has concerned and had many priority policies to supporting Vietnamese people to work abroad under labour contracts. Currently, Vietnamese workers are being accepted by many European countries such as Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria in many professions such as technical workers, nurses, nursing workers, etc.
“In the field of sending Vietnamese workers to Hungary to work, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs always pays attention and supports businesses to expand and sign contracts with Hungarian partners to bring Vietnamese workers to work in Hungary” – Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan shared.
Most Vietnamese workers working in Hungary have had a good income and been guaranteed social welfare regimes in the country.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that in the coming time, the two countries still have a lot of potential in labour cooperation, it is necessary to promote further in order to maximize the potential, commensurate with the needs and interests of both countries.
In order to promoting the number of Vietnamese people going to work in Hungary, at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan asked the Department of Overseas Labour to direct and guide licensed enterprises to organize sending Vietnamese workers to work in Hungary, ensure the recruitment and training of workers before leaving the country.
Mt. Juhas Csongor - General Director of Prohuman Company thanks Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan for the warm welcome with the delegation. He said that Hungary is in the period of population aging and needs to receive foreign skilled workers, especially in the agricultural and industrial sectors.
“Currently, Hungary has agreed to quickly issue foreign worker VISA for 9 different countries and Vietnam is at the top of that list."- Mr. Juhas Csongor informed.
According to Mr. Juhas Csongor, to get that priority, it is because Vietnamese workers are very studious, gentle, and disciplined. In 2020, there were more than 2,000 Vietnamese workers going to Hungary to work, and Mr. Juhas Csongor hopes that in 2022 this number can exceed the target of 2020.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan hoped that the two sides will promote negotiations and signing a labour cooperation agreement between the two countries as soon as possible.
