The Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a coordination programme in the field of labour relations in Hanoi on September 17.
The signing ceremony saw the attendance of Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh,
Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh spoke highly of the initiative proposed by the three agencies in building and organising the programme.
This activity has important significance in the context that Vietnam’s deeper integration into the global economy requires the country to enhance its capacity to comply with international labour commitments, he noted.
Solutions and measures proposed in the programme are expected to facilitate labour relations and help resolve arising problems in a synchronous, stable and progressive manner as well as contributing to socio-economic development and strengthening State management in the field of labour, he added.
Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh also requested that relevant agencies quickly disseminate the programme's content throughout the system, as well as concretise contents of the programme into specific activities.
