The opened chance for Vietnamese labour to work in Czech Republic

  From June 06th, 2019, Czech Republic officially resume work visa for Vietnamese citizens and Czech Republic’s Embassy in Hanoi directively receives the first 200 application profiles of Vietnamese citizens who will go to work in Czech Republic from August, 2019.  

In the official visit to Czech Republic of the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Spource and high level delegation of Vietnam’s Government (From April 16 – 18, 2019), the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a Talks with his Czech counterpart  Andrej Babis, meeting the President, Miloz Zeman, Chairman of the House of Representatives Radek Vondracek, attending the Forum of Vietnam – Czech enterprises and meeting representatives of Vietnamese community in Czech Republic.

At the high level talks between the two sides, the two Prime Ministers agreed with cooperation in boosting bilateral collaboration in many fields, such as: education – training, labour, agriculture, science technology, environment, culture, tourism.
The Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung directively discussed on the issues of promoting labour cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister Andrej Babis agreed that Vietnamese citizens can continue to apply longterm visa with the aime at labour and do business in Czech
At the talks, the Prime Minister Andrej Babis said that: “Czech is the close friend of Vietnam, the active member of EU. Czech support for promoting the relationship between Vietnam and EU, especially, promoting the process of completing procedure to sign EVFTA and EVIPA with Vietnam”.
It’s known that the Eastern European country is now in need of 200,000 workers and, given its thriving economy, the figure is expected to soar up to 600,000 in the coming years.
