On March 27th, 2019, in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democracy Republic, the Roundtable on labour and social welfare between the Delegation from Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Laos. This is an activity prior to the 6th Ministerial Meeting on Labour and Social welfare Vietnam – Laos.
The Delegation of Vietnam in this Roundtable is led by Deputy Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep, the Delegation includes the leadership relationship of the Departments under the Ministry; On Laos Delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Bay Kham Khat Thi Nha, together with the leaders from the Departments, Institutions...
Addressing the Roundtable, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep said that on the base of the traditional friendly relationship between the two Parties, States and People of the two countries, for the past time, the cooperation between Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Laos have been increasingly inclusive and practical.
“It’s known that, for 2 years of implementation of the cooperating activities after the Ministerial Meeting of Labour and Social Affairs between Vietnam – Laos in Da Nang City in 2017, we are here together to review the cooperation results for the past time, as well as agree with the orientation of the cooperation between the two Ministries, and two Countries Vietnam – Laos in the field of Labour and Social Welfare, in order to ensure the cooperation become more and more inclusive and essence, serve for the demand of socio-economic development of the two countries.” Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep emphasized.
In the Roundtable, the representatives review, discuss, update the information of the cooperation policies on labour, employment, training and developing human resource, cooperation on social welfare; assess the activities implemented, the advantages, disadvantages and discuss the solutions and orientation of cooperation in the forthcoming time. It is known that the result of this Roundtable will be submited to the Ministerial Meeting on 28/3.
