On November 26th, 2018, at the Ministry's Head office, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep had a cordial meeting with the Representatives from the the Department of Economic Cooperation and Development – Federal Republic of Germany Embassy to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep emphasized that Vietnam always highly appreciated the cooperation with Germany, especially, the vocational education field. For a long time, Germany and Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam have had the tight and effective cooperation in many fields, not only in vocational cooperation, but also in the other important fields namely the project of Assessment of the Growth Green impact, the project on law…
According to the Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep, the Center of Overseas Labour assigned to directly sign the cooperation agreement with Vivantes Company in selecting, training and sending Vietnamese labourers to work in Germany, working in the field of nursing and caring for the elderly.
For 3 years of implementing this program, the number of students participating in the program have been increased (the first course: 114 students, the second course: 129 students and the third course: 155 students, the forth course: 404 students). Total of student meeting the exporting requirement in 3 courses are 299 people. The Deputy Minister affirmed that, the cooperation programs between MOLISA and German's side have been highly appreciated for the effectiveness, especially the field of vocational education. From this cooperation, the vocational institutions of Vietnam have created the prestige of quality, financial autonomy, raising the position, attracting a large number of students. According to the Deputy Minister, Vietnam have been towards German standard, and built the standard meeting the requirement of businesses in the international integration, as well as the standard of Growth Green. It can be affirmed that Vietnamese Government, Ministry of Labour- Invalids and Social Affairs, enterprises and employees highly appreciated the project funded by Germany.
At the meeting, Representatives of the Department of Economic Development and Cooperation of the German Embassy expressed their pleasure to visit and work with the Ministry, including cooperation programs with the Germany. At the same time, they said that this success is thanked to sustainable development and hoped these programs would be expanded in the coming time.
They also hope that in the forthcoming time, the two sides will make more favorable conditions to help the cooperation becoming more inclusive, effective and bring back benefit for people.
