The Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs signs An Agreement on labour with Saitama Prefecture


On October 26th, 2018, Deputy Minister of Doan Mau Diep had a cordial meeting with Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda – Governor of Saitama Prefecture; Mr. Okabe Daisuke - Economic Ambassador - The Embassy of Japan in Hanoi with members of delegation on the occasion of the visit to MOLISA and signing ceremony of MOU on effective use of engineers and technicians between MOLISA and Saitama Prefecture.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation and affirmed: diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan during the past 45 years has   developed increasingly. Vietnam and Japan become strategic partners, and comprehensive development. Japan is one of the biggest investment countries in Vietnam. Many Japanese enterprises operating in Vietnam have been very successful.

According to Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep, in the field of labour – social affairs, the two countries have had the close cooperation. Many fields, projects on vocational training, social security, social insurance ... have been supported effectively by the Government of Japan. Vietnam also has the highest number of apprentices to Japan among many countries sending apprentices to Japan.

Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep also hoped that the signing ceremony will open the new success and comprehensive, longlasting, effective cooperation of the Ministry of Labour -Invalids and Social Affairs with Saitama prefecture.

At the meeting, Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda emphasized that the Government of Japan always has policies to attract apprentices in the field of nursing, health and social affairs, law ... With the exchange of two countries in these field will benefit to both sides the business and trainees. In the signing ceremony, Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda hoped that concrete activities to be completed in the near future; Both sides will have the opportunity to share and exchange information more widely. At the same time, the Japanese side has placed support team at the Ministry of Planning and Investment to connect and support activities in the future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep confirmed the continuous coordination with the Japanese to solve related problems such as illegal apprentices. Therefore, after the signing, the two sides will coordinate more closely, so that the apprentices can be comfortable when working, studying in Japan.
