Vietnam aims to improve the quality management of vocational training


On March 6, 2013 in Hanoi, the Directorate of Vocational Training in collaboration with the Office of International Education Australia, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam held a workshop on quality management of vocational training.

      Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ngoc Phi; Mr. Nghiem Trong Quy - Deputy General Director of the Directorate of Vocational Training; Mr. Philips Stonehouse, Deputy Australian Ambassador in Hanoi and representatives from 47 colleges and secondary vocational nationwide.
    Purpose of the workshop is to exchange ideas, opinions, experience in quality assurance and quality control training, knowledge from which to draw lessons for practical application in Vietnam. Two sides exchanged discuss the situation and conditions to ensure the quality of vocational training in the vocational training institutions, mechanisms and related policies to ensure the quality of vocational training...
     Australia is a country with rich experience in management quality of vocational training. Since 2008, Vietnam and Australia have partnered to organize three workshops related to the issues mentioned above. Exchange at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Phi said, the content of the workshop will help the State management agencies for vocational training and vocational training institutions in improving the quality of vocational training according to the objectives of the project for vocational training development period 2011 - 2020 has set out, contributing to improving the quality of human resources through training.
