 On 28/9/2020, in Hanoi, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) held the National preparatory workshop for 13th ASEAN forum on migrant labour with the theme “Supporting migrant workers during the pandemic for a Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN Community” through hybrid way with offline in Viet Nam and online with non- Vietnamese delegates.

The ASEAN High-level Conference on Human Resource Development for the Changing World of Work was held virtually on September 16 by Vietnam as the ASEAN Chair 2020, with the participation of 150 delegates. On July, 20, in Hanoi, an Agreement on enhancing cooperation in the field of vocational education and training and skills development between Vietnam and New Zealand was signed. The Agreement was signed between Wendy Matthews, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam, and Truong Anh Dung, Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training under the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs.
