Minister Dao Ngoc Dung receives Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam
Recently, at the Ministry’s Head office, Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung had a cordial meeting with Mr. Yamada Takio, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam. The meeting aimed at promoting cooperation in the field of labour, human resource development between Vietnam and Japan. Attending the meeting were Leadership representatives from the Department of International Cooperation, Department of Employment, Department of Overseas Labour.
Signing Ceremony on promoting the international labour standards in Vietnam in 2021 – 2030 and Awarding Ceremony on Medal of appreciation for the Cause of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs
On May 20th, at the Ministry’s Head office, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) held the Signing Ceremony on promoting the international labour standards in Vietnam in 2021 – 2030 and Awarding Ceremony on Medal of appreciation for the Cause of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs for Dr. Chang Hee Lee, Director of ILO Vietnam. Attending the event were Minister Dao Ngoc Dung; Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh; Dr. Chang Hee Lee, Director of ILO Vietnam; Leadership representatives from the relevant units under MOLISA and ILO office in Hanoi.

On May 12, Thanh Hoa province held an online conference to meet voters and campaign for election of candidates for the 15th National Assembly, term 2021 – 2026. The voters were from districts Nhu Xuan, Nhu Thanh, Nong Cong, Quang Xuong and Nghi Son town.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan receives Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Vietnam
On April 20, 2021, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan had a cordial meeting with Mr. Saud F.M. Al Suwelim, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Vietnam. Attending the meeting were leadership representatives of Department of International Cooperation, Department of Overseas Labour.
Vietnam enhances realization of the commitment and initiative of the year 2020
“Vietnam has enhanced realization of the commitment and initiative of the year 2020, in which, focusing on connecting with the priorities and theme of ASEAN 2021”, Deputy Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan said in the 25th meeting of ASEAN Socio- Cultural Community Council. The meeting was held online under the ASEAN Chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam in March, 31st, 2021.

On March, 23rd, 2021, Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, on behalf of the Delegation of Vietnam Government had a speech at the 65th Session of United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). The Session was held virtually, from the Head quarter of United Nation in New York, United State. Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are invited to attend the session. Vietnam’s Delegation led by Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung. Participating in Vietnam's Delegation were representative of Standing Delegation of Vietnam in United Nations, Department of International organizations (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Department of Gender Equality, Department of International Cooperation (MOLISA).
