On June 22, at the Ministry’s Headquarters, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung had a cordial meeting and working with Ms. Ingrid Christensen, National Director the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Vietnam. Attending the meeting were representatives of the units: Inspectorate, Department of International Cooperation, Department of Social Insurance, Department of Legal Affairs, Department of Work Safety and Department of Labour Relations and Wages.
On June 21, in Vinh Phuc province, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with UN Women held the Closing conference on essential services package for women and girls subject to violence (ESP) phase III in Vietnam (2021 – 2022). More than 80 delegates from United Nations agencies, line ministries, departments, representatives of several provinces and cities, national and international development organizations, CSOs gathered and shared experiences after the 5-year implementation of the United Nations Joint Program on Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence in Viet Nam.
On June 20, Deputy Minister of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) Nguyen Thi Ha had a cordial meeting and awarded the medal "For the cause of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs" to Mrs. Robyn. Louise Mudie, Ambassador of Australia to Vietnam. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Ministry’s Office, the Department of International Cooperation, and the Department of Gender Equality.
